But I bought the Hendrix and Slash collections because of the name, logo and branding of those products. It was an essential component of my decision to purchase the products and has intrinsic value to me. But now you can't just take that value way without offering some sort of compensation. Imagine if I bought a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt because I really wanted to wear a Jimi Hendrix t-shit in public, and then the store takes a spray paint can and sprays out the Jimi Hendrix image on the t-shirt and sells it to me for the same price? Where is the fairness in that?
