I’m unsure whether, given what what followed, your drink/smoke reference was a cautionary note to self…or advice to others ?
I’m not going to compare my own recordings with commercially released items….but I will supply (unidentified) 2 mic-overhead only song-segments with the same employing 6 mics…and leave it to the collective readers here to register their preferences.
