But I did want to comment on this. My UFX+ has a 12 foot USB3 cable and I have never had that issues. Maybe the newer UFXiii has the issues with length or it's something else.
Returning you back to your MH hardware discussion (if I was a Mac person, I'd use their hardware)
USB 3 is a hard pass for me. If I’m trading out a system, it’s to get a faster, more future proof protocol, not a slower, already obsolete protocol.
