Yesterday, I went through all of the help topic info on the Pspatial Stereo Lab website, which was great and very well presented, and have had a series of exchanges with Richard Brice. At this point, I feel that I understand enough to experiment with the technique effectively. The short of it is, the stereo lab APP is doing quite a lot under the hood...;-). I purchased it last night.

In many ways, it reminds me of dither options: they have a few different flavours, and you need to try the different ones to see which best fits your project/music aesthetic...;-)
