Just my two cents—Pandora follows the same design concept, but in this case, we opted for small-step detented encoders instead of the continuous encoders we commonly use. While the products are identical quality-wise, the feel is definitely different. For rack units, it depends; for example, ngTubeEQ uses a mix of detented and continuous encoders based on functionality. Overall, we aim to match encoder types to the function they serve best.

Core concept is the same, but there are many features implemented on top - like two saturation stages, dual output stage (which can also be tube, or solid stage), SC Filters, but also different compression behaviors - Limit (Very high ratio) and FF. Also Dual mono / Stereo / MS on its own is something which extends possible use cases.
