And yeah, I actually have a vt-4 as well, and yes, it DOES work as an interface... but exactly as you said, a little noisy and not ideal perhaps, but hell, it's probably better then the original Digidesign 888's ffs... so we do what we gotta do... and I'm glad that will at least get you through... and doesn't it take 2 inputs if it was something like a line level synth or whatnot? I'm trying to remember... obviously the vocal input as per intent to the device is mono, but I ~thought~ there was a way to get 2 in... but I imagine I am wrong on that....

(correction, I have the earlier VT-3, but I also have the boutique VP-03 which is a different animal but.. nothing that's gonna help you out now...)
