Very interested to see how well it emulates the harmonics of the different styles of compression. I was looking at a Hazelrigg DVA --> DNE rig for a portable vocal rig, but may have to throw this in the ring. It's cheaper, same style of compression (PWM) with more options, and seems like something I'd be less worried about when on a roadtrip or flying. I'm sure sonically the DNE may have an edge, and I LOVE my VLC and VNE but a $600 replacement vs $1200 one would definitely help me sleep better on a flight!
Side note: This will be my first portable setup, how do most people fly with their lunchboxes and LDCs? Any advice?
