Jupiter-6's envelopes are extremely fast. Some people even complain they're clicky. Not only that, they're hi res 16bit, so not noticeable stepping. Very rare at the time.
The Europa's code give high priority to midi timing, whether you hear it or not, which improves a lot and comes handy specially since Europa can handle a lot of additional midi data that the original didn't, like CC or sysex. Doesn't matter if it's not a drum machine, in some circumstances you need good midi timing on a synth, specially in one like the jp6 in which you can make great percussive sounds.
