I went with some music note fundamentals instead, considering a synth bass scenario. Here are the Virtuoso output levels I got for each set frequency, -6 dBFS sine:

D (73.42 Hz):

I may be missing something, but with this kind of variation (E being 10 dB quieter than D, and there being L/R differences for a mono signal), I might as well use the speakers and sub I have in my bedroom to make LF decisions. My room also has audible LF nulls, but they are less dramatic.
