I have - briefly, and they’re really quite different. Especially the way the saturation works.

I’d say VSE-4 can tame the boosts you make more so than HG-Q. VSE-4 boosts just get quieter as you increase saturation but it’s fairly subtle anyway.

Doesn’t seem to do the same thing with HG-Q when you saturate and boost. It stays ‘drier’ if that makes sense and can get pretty crunchy but doesn’t really add sustain.

Regarding the EQ portion and sonics - not sure yet - they’re both great!
