happy wheels, that is change the sample rate of the file and then adjust the pitch back. You can do this with two processes in Cubase: Resample and Pitch Shift. MPEX algorithms are pretty good for this.
This way you can easily apply the same settings to all the files, every time, and you are not time-stretching the whole file bit by bit and also having to check for any issues, etc.etc.
it is pretty straightforward, at least after you figure out what is your resample (and pitch shift) percentage.
I have found this doesn't work?
