Well, given that I am three days away from my 78th birthday, I hardly think I qualify as "youngster" (ah, but if wishes...).
But yes, I would have loved to have been there to hear Klipsch. Unfortunately back some 40 years ago when I started to take this recording thing seriously (i.e. people started wanting to pay me to record them), I had never heard of AES, let alone their conventions. I started going around '94 (IIRC) and then only to the west coast ones.

BTW Scott, you and I met a couple of times at those AES events. I was active in rec.audio.pro somewhere along that time and your posts were ones that I eagerly looked forward to.
