I haven’t heard the vintage SSL in person but most say it does sound very close. I did test the xlogic version on access analog and that’s what I heard it add to my track. I don’t have a system up and running at the moment to test the SSL Bus+ unfortunately. I currently use the Dione which is great with little less glue. Using ssl type comps and plugins over the years, you do get the idea of what the ssl bus comp sound is.

Now, does the SSL Bus+ sound as good as the xlogic ssl or better?
