There is no better value for money on the market right now.
I will upgrade to M chip when the dust will settled, right now there is no need, and oh by way, I can use Reason 12 like a charm on my 2009 Mac Pro ! Will keep it just for Reason in the worst case
I'm right there with you, my 15 yr old mac pro works just fine and the Ui is snappy with an ssd.
It just doesn't have the crunch power. I keep it going for compatibility with old projects and old games.
