Another session absolutely ruined by Logic. As I get towards the end of a mix I usually have max 32 channels. I use the mcdsp plugs on most channels for dynamics and eq, they can’t be that processor hungry, my reverbs are on sends, I don’t have VIs running other than sampler, I’m at 44.1khz on a top spec 2023 MacBook Air.
Regardless of the buffer I institute logic can’t handle it. There’s nothing majorly processor heavy going on, perhaps just some Pulsar eqs that I generally have set to x8 oversampling.
It’s not just the fact it can’t handle it, the way that it stalls and fails to empty the buffer of my delays / reverbs, then spits out fragments of audio with massive clicks and pops is actually harming my ears.
I’m gonna recreate the same project in LUNA track for track to see if it does the same thing.
You seem like an old hand at this so apologies if this is stuff you’ve tried but you’ve created an empty track and armed it while playing the rest, to balance the cores? Does the performance meter show any core maxed?
