To me the problems with Cubase on Mac happened about the same time they started concentrating on the PC version. I had many exchanges with Mark Badger about bugs never being addressed and finally gave up and jumped to Logic.
Ironically, Cubase on Mac M systems behaves better than on Windows these days. Until they figure things out and stuff flips again, as is the nature of these things sometimes.
