I've been on a crusade to downsize my tracking and mixing equipment, and this thing would literally be perfect if it had inserts! Really good touch adding the output trim.

I nearly pulled the trigger on the Neve 88M but I need clean i/o for a mix bus chain, and would have liked another headphone amplifier. The Neumann was another option, but I really like recording guitars through something with transformers (Neve/Phoenix) so I have decided against it. Believe me, I have tried the clean route, and I just prefer getting things in the ballpark at source.

I want one (smallish) box, with two transformer coupled pre-amps, inserts, ADAT expandability and two additional i/o ports for a mix bus. This i73 Pro Edge thing is close enough that I think I'll just pull the trigger and try their DSP.
