just ordered my first piece of retro gear the 176, I was torn between the STA, Powerstrip & 176 but after much deliberation I've gone 176 for it's versatility. I'll definitely be looking to get all the Retro stuff eventually but it aint cheap lol.

My main vocal tracking chain will now be WA87 - Silver Bullet Neve pre, - culture vulture for a hair of pentode, then into the 176.. Cant wait!!! just the mic to upgrade next and i'm dandy!
