I ordered a pair of 1084s, and have just done a couple sessions (drums, bass).
I used a radial mic splitter to compare the AML 1073 ez and 1084. Even with the EQs engaged for both, the wav forms were as identical as I figure I could make them whole volume matched.
This for me has meant that these 1084 are thrusted to be one of the best deals going and I suspect I’ll get another couple of them.
They’re as good sonically as the 1073, but are cheaper, and have more features (output control, instrument in, and of course the additional EQ points).
Stellar all around.
This may have pushed me over the edge to sell my ez1073 for one of these. The biggest thing for me is the output level, which I know some of the 1073’s have but not mine. Thanks for the update!
