Just received my UF8 today, set it up, updated the firmware, and can confirm, meters are really, really painfully slow and narrow. Also, while you're here, wasn't the 1.6 update supposed to bring coloured tracks and - first and foremost - LONGER TRACK NAMES? Is something wrong with my UF8 being stuck on old firmware, or has it just not been delivered for Live?
I’m not a user of Live so can’t comment on the meters issue specifically on the MCU layer, but it sounds like you’re using your DAWS MCU layer mode on the UF8 where there’s no access to SSL’s 360 functions for things like track colours. Here’s the SSL 360 1.6 update vid
