All checked, not issues with versions. I did some further checking and what is actually happening is that I am able to press, and then press again the PAN button. It will trigger Channel Mode and then if pressed again, seems to go into a black hole of sorts. No PAN information is available on the TFT screens (the key shortcuts remain) and turning a pan knob just shows a little line. If I hold the PAN button when switching ouf channel mode a message appears very briefly showing options for Surround, multichannel - but then disappears.
I've reloaded other profiles, rebooted the devices - to no avail, always the same results - and always only on the first DAW layer. Probably time to engage SSL support. Very strange.
