expressor is very good and versatile, I have the xpressor 500 series and absolutely love it, there is not one recording or mix where it isn't used, I stopped using plug-ins for compression since owning it.
I was thinking since it's fairly clean it might be a good option and not too expensive. The TK Audio unit is also supposed to be clean sounding.
