You are welcome. So you have no hardware at all. Everything is on menus. You have to know the software.
Polarity is used when several signals of similar frequency clash when they are combined, One channel is reversed in polarity. If you want to learn, you have to read.
Your real question is how to use these tools and techniques, not what are they.
