Admittedly it is a difficult job to attempt to keep trying to defend what many feel is indefensible...but that's just it....if he acknowledged people's grievances instead of either attempting to deflect them or poo poo them he wouldn't be making a rod for his own back. He picked a fight with me there too :-/ called me out for ‘snarking’ and childishly reacted to me pointing out the irony of him complaining that people were “incapable” or “unwilling” to understand him.
But as I said in that thread, I’m an internet nobody and if I’m a dick on a forum it reflects badly on nobody real. He’s representing a company in public so when he insults people and their intelligence in public he’s doing so in the name of IK Multimedia.
He’s hubristic and hard headed. Perfect traits for an IK employee.
Also I honestly find it hard to believe that IKM can get posts published all over the internet saying “IK Multimedia Renews Its Entire Software Range for NAMM 2023” when they’ve done nothing of the sort.
