Even if we
could see it, that doesn't mean that we'd understand it.
DNA for example. I believe it's a sophisticated language, like our binary computer one, only with, what, 22 letters instead of 2?
Until we recognise such a possibility we'll be lumped with a 2nd-rate,
associative understanding. I'm guessing that the same thing applies to the universe at-large... IMHO.
