Just finished tracking with Colombian band Dr. Krapula who are in Germany for the time being.

Niko used our preferred recording kit, an old Sonor HiLite with DW rack tom and snare (super deep) and these strange Zildjian K cymbals. Can't remember the name, they look rather dark and vintage and sound like that, too. Great for recording!

Everyone loved the sounds, organic, but huge. And it's always fun to demonstrate those Periscopes to someone not knowing them. These kick some serious ash.
