Recently, in their ads, Relab has claimed that their 480 is a "sample accurate" reproduction of the original unit. I'm not sure how they back up that claim, but if it's true in all settings you can't get a more accurate emulation than that.

I like the Relab version better. It's not intrusive. I'm not a big fan of reverb in general and the Relab 480 sits nicely, and doesn't offend me, in pretty much every mix that I use it in.
From memory, the UAD version I think was too thick. It would just get in the way. I like their 224 though.
