I have heard rumors of a new line of upgraded Apollos, but I’m in the same boat as you….I just don’t know.

I do know that I bought an Apollo X8 a few months ago, and I’d have mixed feelings if I saw upgraded hardware. I bought my x8 in order to have an all in one unit that could run UAD plugs via dsp. Since that time, dsp has become unnecessary to run UAD stuff.

If I had this info a few months ago I would have gone with a Pro Tools HD system.
