Yamaha better put out another synth with a VA-worthy interface.

I'm not against new Montage with better analog emulation, but in the first place, Monatage was created with the concept of the performance oriented synth, and if it was really important to be performance oriented, it is clearly better to use two keyboards stacked in two layers rather than an all-in-one keyboard that produces both VA and piano sounds. Also Montage 8's weighted key is not ideal for playing synth sound at all.
