Hey All,

I have been making music for years, but I have never used CV gate. I've been 24-7 hardware MIDI since 1994.

I am thinking about pulling a Yazoo and making music with nothing but the equivalent of a Pro-One and a DAW.

The Volt is DC coupled and should be able to send gate and voltage. Is there anything I should be aware of?

Do the cables need to be wired a certain way?

Also, I am using Studio One and it does not have an CV utilities built in like Ableton or Bitwig. Any recommendations for a 3 party utility would be greatly appreciated.
