If your going to give me the exact same feature set for music as regular ProTools, then AVID should just charge me the 199$ instead of 399$. It’s not like the last 5-6 years I’ve gotten a whole bunch of new features that are ProTools Ultimate exclusive! If anything the ones that should be celebrating are those on regular ProTools. Ultimate only features are making its way down so their version is moving forward and improving, but for a guy like me, who just does music, for the kind of money I’m spending on Ultimate, it’s not really worth it anymore. So they better get their act together of guys like me will eventually just jump ship and go where the grass looks greener.
