Eh, these threads are mainly full of people who don't use Pro Tools and like to brag about it. It's very strange. There's many of us long time users who wouldn't consider changing DAWs because the workflow is engraved in our brain. Kudos to everyone who had the time in their schedule to make a drastic change and completely learn something new without the demand of clients breathing down their neck.
But for the rest of us who have entire studios with Avid hardware, who also like to be able to work in every major studio on a consistent DAW, we are here to stay for the foreseeable future. Nobody in here is gonna convince us to change at this point.. Especially coming off as pretentious as some of these people do. I enjoy these these Pro Tools update threads because I can quickly see what's new as soon as it comes out without having to sift through Avid's site, but it's annoying to see the same type of people complain. (and yes, there is reason to complain about certain things, but please stop bragging about how much better your DAW is than ours...)
