I am really puzzled why they haven't done this. Out of all my Volca's, the beats is the one I rarely use. (i'm taking analog, so the newer digital drum Volca's aren't really a progression the way I see it)

A new flavour one, perhaps with some of their analog heritage in the sounds (Minipops 7, KR55) could be interesting.

Also think its time for them to ditch the membrane keyboard for something a little more tactile. (Roland binned the touch strips on the Boutiques without much fuss). Even cheap low travel rubber buttons would be more welcome (imo).
