I wonder if you could help me. I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 interface and I have brought a very nice Sontronics Aria microphone. I have created a vocal booth and I’m all ready to go … but now I’m thinking - should I get a mic pre amp and if so, which one? I just want to record acoustic guitar, banjo etc but mainly vocals! I don’t want to break the bank but want to get good quality?
