IMHO the Warm WA 47Jr (I have one), is a very nice vocal microphone.
But it still falls within the "Character" designation above.
I was able to snag one for $200, during one of those sales.
It's a nice alternative for music get togethers, at a friend's home,
as a "Room Mic"-set on Omni. That way we keep his U87i "safe and sound put away.

P.S. While we all have our perspectives... Paul G has to be one of the top evaluators of the 47 style microphone
