In that setup you dont hear speaker signature at all. When tiliting them to the ears the sound really opens and stereo image becomes precise.
SRP400 are about £530 street price from StudioSpares but I'm going in another direction now I think. Want to try some Sonics Animas if at all possible.
I've had no luck with Velvet Sound in past, can never get any interest out of them.
