Literally asking for a friend. Was going to bequeath a couple of units to him for a non-computer-based studio next week. One fired up fine, with no issue a week ago. Powering on again for a test, the Controller display screen is blank, yet transport and HD are "reading" - No track display/touch screen= no jog/scrub/edit capability.

Just curious. I have ONE working system of my own and two spares - one of which the CPU emitted smoke when I powered it on, the other CPU works, but one edit controller gives me garbled video display, the other is the one with a blank screen.... This is why I stopped using these years ago.
