No surround is unfortunate.

also if you listen carefully to the launch video (linked above) and read their website - nowhere does it say "same code" or "same sound" as the hardware

it says vague things such as "reimagined"

so for those that love the sound of the hardware 6000.... i suspect that the new plugins will sound *somewhat* different....

I am guessing that only some people at tc electronic currently know exactly how different....
