That is the Agatha Christie mystery that is yet to be revealed to the innocent bystanders. :-)
In all the communication from IKM today, they keep mentioning "you will get all the new gear" but there is not mention that the new gear includes updates to gear that is in previous collections.
The "new gear" is this that is listed under "new gear" on this link.

I am interpreting these posts to mean that there may be a difference between "the new gear" and "the gear" in AT 5. Meaning, if you buy AT 5, you will get "the new" SilverPlate 50, MiniPlex 20, New York B750, German 34, VHandcraft 4 but you will not get new and updated versions of Fender Champs and Bassmans that were in Fender 2 collections. (I ma be wrong).
There is mention of "remastered classic gear" which refers to "the original AmpliTube legacy gear" has been given a "fresh new look" and "optimized internal gain structure and superior power amp - speaker interaction to maximize their realism and feel". This last part I am interpreting as yes, it will have that because you will be able to use the new VIR cabs that come with the "new gear" with these legacy AT amps.
We shall see how it is once it's released.

Well-thought-out pricing structure, as usual

From what I heard, if you buy AT with hardware, it is not eligible for upgrade or crossgrade. So you can never take advantage of a crossgrade offer. If you buy it on its own, then it's eligible.
