Nothing is more important than learning your own sound system and room, however perfect or poor - same goes for cars, since you know what your own car sounds like.
The headphones might be great on their own, but the rest is snake oil.
Cmon man.. that then insults my (and other highly invested persons) expertise in my impression of the product. I've spent $500,000+ on the totality of my collective gear, and I'm the first to give it up to this $500 product that is doing what they say it does.. totally exceeded my expectations.. my tastes are unfairly hard to satisfy because simply, I can afford the "best" in audio no matter the cost. You think I'm happy that a $500 product came along years after I've made such grand investments in monitoring?!? Innovation happens... Last time I remember something similar to this was when Waves released the first SSL 4000 plugins... that made a ton of hardware people mad at the time.. they all was in denial.. now, look where plugins are today. The game is adapt or die... and adapting sometimes means you have to stop coveting an expensive SL1200 rig and learn Serato if you want to keep up with the times.
And trust me, my expectations are high... OCD... this kind of commentary is a bit obtuse in opposite with many highly critical people in the most brutal forum for Pro Audio in history (GS) has said about the product. At least, try the product, then give an honest review.. if you feel they're crap then at least after owning the product your time and effort in posting won't be wasting the time and efforts of members this product may actually find novelty.
