I agree that the 3 band is somewhat underwhelming. I have TC MD3 but have found I can get much better results with fab filter Pro-MB for a myriad of reasons, not counting the integrated EQ, brickwall limiter and expander of the MD3.

Are they going to have an upgrade to expand to 5 bands? They never upgraded their Finalizer app as far as I'm aware.
I am glad it isn't 5 band as it is easier to hold on to my money but I will continue to watch their product line. The interface looks nice and I'm sure it sounds good (the finalizer app was easy to get good "clean" results from), but 3 bands seems a bit limiting in 2020, at least for electronica or pop.
