Isn't 144dBs of dynamic range good enough for you? (24 bits) We're in an amazing place audio hardware wise - Even budget gear has noisefloor, distortion and headroom specs yesteryear multimillion dollar studios could only dream of. What are you going to do with more than 144dBs of dynamic range? 32 bits for internal busses is great to avoid clipping during mixing, but I see no practical reason for it on the way in.
