I bought both. I have both. I am keeping both.
The RW by itself, is somewhat flabby and weak,
and not so impressive.
However, when mixed with a Cyclone TT-78, a Monotribe as
a snare accent noise generator (VCO muted) and the RW,
it gives me a unique sound. YMMV
Personally, the TS-305, wipes the floor of the AKAIS,
but the RW, Tom Cat will not give you a hernia in moving them.
The TS-305 is a tom machine, and I would like to one day
acquire a Simmons to go with...
I hold my head in shame though, as I traded away my Timbre Wolf.
They always said back in the 70s on adverts, "collect the entire set".
I was errant, and I need to spend time in the penalty box

On topic: RW and TC.
Different, not better.

Do you think it's better than the Tom Cat?
