Unfortunately, I didn't get any really detailed pics because I only had about an hour to place all the mics and setup the session from scratch. Needless to say I wasn't totally focused on getting photos of the mic positions. The second pic shows exactly how and where I had the M/S setup on my house kit before the drummer came in with his own kit. Same placement give or take a few inches.
Cool stuff, Funny Cat. How do you manage to get such a full, in-your-face snare with such a controlled and unpronounced hat? I don't even mic my hihat and it's still all I can do to tame it in the mix.
