I quite like townhouse. But now that I have novatron, townhouse tends to get replaced a lot (though not on the mix bus).
I don’t what Novatron is like, but Townhouse has plenty of character. Though it’s not always suitable for everything as great as it is. Especially with it’s limited attack and release settings.
