It's unfortunate that you don't develop for 10.8... OSX. Many of us have legacy Pro Tools rigs that have 10s of thousands invested and are not only rock-solid performance wise, but creatively are no less capable than the latest versions.
I do have a rig that runs in tandem for my Virtual Instruments that is a newer OS, I might check it out for that, but would have been nice to try these on the tracking and mixing side of my system.
The blame for this falls squarely Apple. They do everything they can to make it difficult for developers to support older OS's. They don't want you using anything but the latest. They know what's best us.
