I think it's in expander mode there, i'd imagine when changing to gate the hysteresis control appears like it does now, perhaps as a smaller screw to fit in with the new design.

I hope this will be a free upgrade, tho I doubt that it will be.

I look forward to trying it out, having just got the E channel as well and really loving it, any improvements will be interesting to hear.
