I agree that this smokes V3 out the water.
The control over what sounds can be created is pretty impressive. The V4 saturation is gooey and natural sounding to my ear. There are some well thought out design features like the saturation threshold and the Eq for driving certain frequencies (or not). The compression rounds out transients nicely as you'd expect from a tape machine.
The flanger and tape delay are a bit meh for me. I may change my mind with further use..as is the case sometimes.
Definitely worth the price of admission..
