I had an Alexis something or other back in the early 90s. (Can't remember which one--alcohol... ) Some of the presets were phenomenal, some really awful, but I've not heard comparable reverse reverb since. (I also don't get around much anymore...) You know the preset, it's been on a zillion tracks. Otherwise, VVV is to die for. Amazing trails, amazing space, amazing colors. I'd eventually go full-metal slut and get both, starting with the hardware if you can get it that cheap.
