Save yourself the hassle with Yamahas, they are verry Harsh and will hurt your ears after a few hours (you cannot tell maybe in the first hours or days, but in time the harshness will "blow your mind"
), also imprecise, translation is bad. I own them and while they are OK for the price, they are a pain to use, so now i use them just for listening vinyls, in the mean time i use the Kh 120 & Kh 805 combo, the Neumanns are superb in translation, the sub is needed for electronic music, but you will have a top notch system
They have better bass than the Yamahas but they are still tiny and you will not hear the sub freqs(same for other monitors with woofer < 8-9 inches). I too was choosing between Focal and Neumann so i went with the Neumanns in the end. Good luck in your decision
